Most of the time I want an email to send when I’m through writing it, but there are times when I want an email to wait for a while.  Fortunately Outlook has me covered. To send an email at a specific time I just write an email the normal way.

Then I click on the “Options” button and check the “Do not deliver before:” box. Then it’s just a couple of clicks to pick the date and time.

Once the time is all set clicking Close and then Send places the email in my Outbox where it will patiently wait until the appointed time to send.

I was not able to find a similar function for Entourage users on Macs. You can go to the message menu and choose “Send Message Later.” This will place the message in your out box and send it the next time you start up Entourage. I don’t see a way to set a time in the future to send a message though.
